There is no more popular ilustrated weekly this side of the line than the NZ. Sporting and Dramatic Review, and the' current issue easily maintains the top-most standard for merit and variety, A fine souvenir is obtained of the Wanganui A. and P. Association’s annual show, which established a record. Racing enthusiasts will find notable appeal in the generous showing given the Pahiatua Jockey Club’s meeting and the Hamilton Racing Club’s gathering at Claudelands. The Melbourne Cup and the Victoria Derby will command particular attention. Excellent views of tfhe N.Z. Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting also appear. The competitions at the Cambridge Musical and elocutionary Festival occupy liberal space, and a novel Chinese wedding in Wellington is given a fair share of prominence. The well arranged centre pages catch the eye pleasingly.
