Meat Producers’ Board has received the following caljle from its London office, dated November .16, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date as follows :— ■New Zealand wethers and maidens, Canterbury quality, selected brands, 561 b and under 8% per lb, 571 b to 641 b 7%d, 651 b to 721 b 734 d; other brands, 561 b and under 7%d, 571 b to 641 b 7y 2 d, 651 b to 721 b 7%. New Zealand Ewes, 641 b and under 6%d per lb. - New Zealand lamb, Canterbury quality, 361 b and under per lb, 371 b to 421 b 10 3 / B d, 431 b to 501 b 9%7 seconds lOd; selected brands, 361 b and under io%d, 371 b to 421 b 18%d; other brands, first quality under 421 b 9%d, seconds 9%d. New Zealand beef: Ox fores 3%d per lb ; ox hinds 4'%d ; cow fores 2%d, cow hinds 3%d. Argentine chilled beef: Ox fores 3%d per lb, ox hinds 5%d. Argentine frozen beef: Ox fores 3%d per lb, ox hinds sd. Frozen pork: Under 1001 b 7%d per lb, 1201 b to 1801 b 7%. Lamb and mutton in better demand generally.
