NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN 1. That it is the intention ot the Hauraki Plains County Council under the provisions of “The Counties’ Act, 1920,” The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,” and amendments thereof respectively, and all other Acts (if any) it in that behalf enabling to borrow the sum of £28,600 for the following purposes: a. Improving, metalling, and laying down as a Bitumen Road, the Turua-Kopuarahi Road (sometimes called Piako Road) a distance of approximately 170 chains. £5380 b. That it is the intention of the Council to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first, year. 4. The loan is for a period of 36| years at such rate of interest not exceeding so much as may be authorised under Section 11 oi the Finance Act, 1921, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund.
