" * ' / t Mr C. W.s Harris, chairman-of thds Board, said ' that the members hadag’eed to ■■ take upon< .themselves, jointly and .the liability of the .suggested improvements, ana would welcome the co-pperation and adivce of all persons interested in the welfare of the district. He thought it would be a good thing to have a committee to work .in conjunction with the Board and advise them of the requirements of the various branches of sport. The Domain Board would be pleased to have their advice, and the appointment of the committee would be a step in the right direction, besides creating and maintaining interest. He moved that the variou®,' sports clubs in the district be written to and asked to nominate two members each to be a committee to work in conjunction with the Board. This was seconded by Mr R. T. Williams and carried. It was also decided that a meeting of the Board and the committee be held on the following Wednesday.
