DEFAULTING FOOTBALLERS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l would like to correct a statement made by Mr Walmsley at the meeting of the Boundary Committee held on Wednesday, September 26, Mr Walmsley quoted an instance that had occurred this season, stating that the Komata Club was unable to get a sufficient number of pllayers to go to Nethentpn. Now,, this is quite contrary to fact. He should have said ths West Club could not get a team to go to Netherton, although the club had a junior team playing in Paeroa. The Komata Club has only 18 playing members, but has always put 15 players on the field, and to time. W. L. THORBURN, President, Komata -Club.
