Borough Council meeting by one councillor} who is interested in timber (says .the “Waipa Post”), that he had lately repurchased from the State an area of standing timber, which he had ± many years ago bought from the Goveminent at about £5O, and failed to cut or remove. The land and timber reverted to the Crown, and though nothing had been done in the interim, he had had to pay more than three times as much to repurchase the area.
