RECORD OF CONVICTIONS. LIQUOR CONSUMED. The number of convictions for drunkenness last year in no-license districts was as follows : — Ohinemuri, 21; Masterton, 33 Ashburtpn, 45; Oamaru, 47; Clutha, 20; Mataura, 21; Invercargill, 61; total, 248. Four persons under 21 years were convicted ; 16 between 21 and 25 : 178 over 25 ; while in 50 cases the age was not stated. The amount of liquor consumed totalled 338,719 gallons. There were 16,786 gallons of whisky and 311,602 gallons of beer.
