ENTERTAINMENTS.
CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. Dear Patrons, —To-night we are presenting for your approval D, W. Griffiths’ masterpiece, “Orphans of the Storm.” This picture, which takes almost three hours to screen,) is the greatest picture that we have had the privilege of screening. There is no need for us to sing its praises, because it is practically known to everyone that the picture is all that it is claimed to be —and that is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. The Scotch comedian, Mr Jock Gray, before starting his tour of New Zealand, which commences at Hamilton to-morrow night, will sing before this picture starts, at 8 o’clock sharp, “Roamin’ in the Gloamin’,” “Foo the Noo,” “It’s nice to get up in the morning,” “The Wee Hoose amang the Heather.”—Woods and Jennings.
