An incomparably high standard is attained in this week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review, which abounds in illustrations of unsurpassed merit and covering a diversity of attractions. Brilliant scenes at Ascot, when the King’s l horse won the Royal Hunt cup, occupy a prominent place, and the marriage of the Queen’s neice is also the subject of a special set. The enormous school of whale which was stranded at Whangarie is a source of special attention, and sheep fanning in the snow in Central Otago gives an idea of the wide range of subjects portrayed in this issue.
