CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES Dear Patrons.— Saturday night our programme should be “Peck’s Bad Boy,” but we have received a wire advising that there is a. possibility of it’s non-arrival. This will be the second time this has happened regarding this programme, but we are pleased to know in time, so-that we can make other arrangements to have a programme here should “Peck’s Bad Boy” not arrive, and “Island Wives” wPI be screened a,s a substitute. Regarding our dance in conjunction with the pictures, it is rumoured that this was solely got up in opposition to Miss Milgrew’s popular classes. We wish to emphatically deny this statement, We have thought of this for the last three months, and were only following other exhibitors wbo have successfully included dancing in conjunction with their pictures. It must be borne in mind that the weather has been frightfully cold, and patrons will not come cut and sit freezing in a theatre looking at pictures, but with a dance included--well, it is some inducement for them to attend. If we don’t, take any more than what we have to pay for films there is not the slightest use of showing pictures at all. We do not want to run in opposition to Miss Milgrew, nor will we. do so on any account, and we wish her every success in her venture.—Woods and, Jennings.
