POSITIONS IN COMPETITION. The Paeroa Rugby Union’s senior competition will reach it,s final stage to-morrow, when Komata and West will meet on the Domain. for their final game. The position of the teams at present isKomata j.O, West 10> Netherton 8, and Hikutaia 2, witu Nothertpn and Hikutaia two games to play. This means that if Nethertpn defeats Hikutaia, the former will have to play off with the winning team of the Komata v. West match for the championship. It is a long time since the locaL competitions reached such an interesting stage, and to-morrow’s game should prove one of the hardest games of the season. Both teams have been training hard, and, fortunately, a few fine days have dried the grounds up considerably. Followers of the "game should be well pleased with to-morrow’s exhibition, as a rather extensive representative programme .of the Union l;as put players on their mettle.
