GOLF.
The first round of the President’s Trophy was played on the links on Saturday, and resulted in a tie between Messrs Hanna, Hedge, and Miller. The play-off resulted in Hanna 3 points, Miller 2, Hedge 1. The date of the, second and final round will be advised members later. Following are the scores handedin: Miller 96—14—82, 'Hanna 100 - 18—82, Hedge 108—26—82, Somervell 100—16—84, Budd 94—8—86, Hubbard 122—35—87, Kenny 119—22—97. The Club Championships, senior and junior, will be played next Saturday, weather permitting. Partners to be drawn.
