The pontoon for a big American dipper dredge which has been under construction at Kerepeehi for some months, was completed last week and will be launched within a few days. The pontoon is 80 feet long, and when fitted with machinery will be the biggest dredge on the Plains. The machinery is at present at Kerepeehi.
