CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. CONFIDENCE. “Coiifidence,” to-be presented this evening,, is one of the most appealing of small town tales ever told on the screen. In this picture Herbert Rawlinson plays the part of a high binder who doesn’t know that he is one. When he does find out that he is being used as a tool for one of the mosQ notorious confidence men in the country he set about turning the tables, and for the final thousand feet or so of film the swindler is said tp become a model citizen and a credit to the community. SATURDAY NIGHT. KINDRED OF THE DUST. An excellent picture, entitled “Kindred of the Dust,” has been secured tor to-morrow night, A splendid programme is in support. MONDAY NIGHT. COUNT OF MONTE’ CRISTO. The attraction for Monday is "The Count of Monte Cristo.” Three generations have their memories stirred at the very mention of "Monte Cristo.’’ Grandparents, fathers and mothers, and children together build a vivid mind image at the name of this stage classic and novel—the melodrama that has played upon the emotions of countless audiences, the story that is the very pillar of romance. It is claimed that its plot has wrung more expectation, anxiety, and suspense from the impressionable, and brought more satisfaction with its solution, than perhaps any of the other old successes that graced our times in days gone by.
