Public Notices. PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL. IVT OTICE is hereby given that at a Special meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council held on the 14th day of June, 1923,"fU Resolution was passed “That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and its amendments, and in exercise of all and every the other powers in that behalf contained or implied in any other Act, Order-in-Council, or Ordinance enabling the said Council, THE PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL hereby by way of special order revokes and repeals all By-laws heretofore made by the Paeroa Borough Council and now in force in the said Borough as from the date of the coming into operation of -By-law No. I. made on even date herewith and hereby makes by way of Special Order the annexed By-law under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and any other Act, Order-in-Council, or Ordinance it thereunto enabling ; to be known as By-law No. I. of the Borough of Paeroa, which By-law shall come into force on the 26th day of July. 1923.” The objects and purpose of the said By-law are regulations pertaining to:— 1. Interpretation, 2. Penalties and Notices, 3. Standing Orders, .4 Offences, 5. Slaughterhouses, 6. Prevention of Fire, 7. Licensed Vehicles and Drivers, 8. Regulating Traffic and Width of Tyres, 9. Fire Escapes, 10. Pedlars and Hawkers, 11. Itinerant Traders,. 12 Streets, 13. Buildings, 14. Ruinous or Dangerous Buildings, etc., 15. Water Supply, 16 ; Sanitation, 17. Noxious Weeds, 18. Dangerous Goods,. 19. Buildings for Public Meetings, etc., 20. Sale of Milk and Meat, 21. Boardinghouses, 22. Chimney-sweeps, 23. Billiard JSaloons, 24. Domains and Public Reserves, 25. Refreshment Rooms, 26. Miscellaneous. A full copy of this By-law is deposited at the offices of the Paeroa Borough Council, Wharf Street, Paeroa, and is open to the inspection of the Public during office hours until the 12th day of July, 1923. And Notice is hereby also given that the said resolution will be submitted to a meeting of the said Paeroa Borough Council to be held at. the Council’s Office, Wharf Street, Paeroa, on the 12th day of July, 1923, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
