_ -• - PAEROA RUGBY UNION. COMM*r’IEE MEETING. The Paeroa Rugby Union committee met last nights, when there weie present: Messrs J. Walmsley (chairman), C. Potter, W. Morrison, B. Neil, W. Power, E. Moore/, H. M. Shand, P. Vuglar, and the secretary. . A letter was received from the Rotorua Rugby Union staling that they were prepared to play Paeroa at Rotorua and give towards expenses 70 per cent, of the gate. It was decided to accept this offer, the date of the : match to be decided later by the Rotorua Union. - The Kar,angahake Football Club wrote asking that all matches they have to play in Paeroa be started at a time to permit them to travel by the', three o’clock train. The application was granted, the time of starting being fixed at 3.15 p.m. An application for a clearance from ~C. Ellis was referred to the West •Club.. 1 The following players were registered : H. Rolton, Komata senior; ■Merino Hnoa, Tati Mutu, P. Hohepa, S. *Parakuka, W. Hona,-, Suburbs seniors ; W. Vedder, W. Aedley, J. Smith, W. Alcock, Suburbs juniors. The applications of J. Poland and J. Hibbs from the West Club were referred tc Hauraki Plains Rugby Union for clearances. The referee of the -senior game between Komata and Suburbs reported having ordered a Komata player., C. ■ Benjamin, off the field.for rough play.
