The weekly meeting of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held at Paeroa last night, the following being present* Messrs J. Walmsley (chairman), H. M. Shand, W. Power, G. Jenkinson, B. Neil, C. Potter, E. Moore, P. Vuglar, and the secretary. Correspondence and referees’ ports were received. ‘ The referee of the Komata-East v. West junior match at Paeroa on June 9 reported having ordered a KomataEast player off the field for roung play. It was decided that the punishment inflicted by the ; referee was sufficient, and that the player be cautioned. i Owing to the junior fixtures being finished early in the season, pnd there being only two representative matches in sight, it was decided, to extend the competition to three rounds. n < Accounts to the amount of £3 15s were passed for payment. It was decided to carry on the junior fixtures as usual. - The following will be the matches for Saturday:— Paeroa v. Hauraki Plains, at Paeroa, for the Frank Poland Memorial Cup. Juniors. —Netherton v. West, No. 2 ground, at 1.30 p.m. Karangahake v. Suburbs, at Hikutaia.
