PAEROA RUGBY UNION. COMMITTEE MEETING. The Paeroa Rugby Union met on Tuesday last, the following being present: Messrs J. Walmsley (chairman), W. Power, H. M. Shand, C. Potter, E. Moore, P. Vuglar, B. Neil, and the secretary. The Hauraki Plains Rugby Union notified that they were playing Thames for the Peace Cup on the date set down for the representative game with Paeroa, at Paeroa, and asked- if Paeroa would play on June 16. —Granted.The Thames Rugby Union wrote stating that the only date on which a return third grade match could he played at present was June 9, as a curtain raiser. It was decided that this date was not suitable, but that an effort, be made to have the match played later in the season. Piako Rugby Union wrote asking for a “B” representative team to play Te Aroha on June 9, but it was considered that the notice was too short to enable the selector to get such a team together. It was decided to utilise Short’s bus for the representative team on Saturday, the time of starting being 1 p.m. from Mahony’s corner. - Accounts amounting to £6 were passed for payment. B. Carter, Netherton club, was regraded from senior to junior. TEAM FOR TO-MORROW. The following team will represent Bast Juniors against West at Paeroa to-morrpw:— A. McKenna, L. Smith,. D. Haskell, J. Walls, S. Tukukino, C. Treanor, H. Thorp, F. Thorp, M. Pennell, J. Neil, H. Mitchell, F. Fitch, G. Lawrence, K. Slyfield, W. Southby.' Emergencies : Backs, H. Moore, J. Peacock; forwa’d, G. Strawbridge. The game is to commence at 2.40, P.m. PLAINS NOTES. Mr F. Stretton, of Waitakaruru* has been selected by the delegates to the Hauraki Plains Rugby Union to referee in the Plains v. Piako match tp-morrow. The following junior teams have been picked to play the curtain-raiser at Ngatea to-morrow, play to commence at 1.15 p.m.:— West.--L. Dunwoodie, H.'Porter, L.
