A good deal of inconvenience was caused the travelling public yesterday tKrough the Public Works Department pulling up a bridge on the main Netherton road without giving any notice whatsoever. People travel - ling from Paeroa end had to retrace their, steps some three miles and proceed via Wilson’s Road, while travellers to Paeroa were caused a like inconvenience. It is to be hoped that such high-handed conduct bj’ the officials will not be passed unnoticed.
