Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO \ LEVY RATES 1923-24. PURSUANT to Section 50 of “The Rating Act, 1908,,” notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council, • in pursuance, of sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and\“The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereof respectively and of section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and of Section 6 of “The Local Bodies Finance Act, 1921-22,” and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends, at its next ordinary meeting, to be held in jts office at Ngatea on Tuesday, the 12th day of June, 1923, to make and levy the following rates :— l/A GENERAL RATE upon the unimproved value of all rateable property Within the several ridings of the County of Hauraki Plains as set out hereunder: > Name of riding Amount of rate Turua, outlying •district 2|d in the £ Turua, Turua , _ Town District lid in the £ Kopuarahi 2d in the £ Horahia 2d in the £ Kerepeehi 2d in the £ Netherton 2|d in the £ Patetonga 2d in the £ Ngatea - 2d in the £ Pipiroa / 2d in the £ Waitakaruru 2d in the £ 2. A HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID RATE of f d in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the County of Hauraki Plains. ' 3. A SPECIAL RATE of fd in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the County of Hauraki Plains for the purpose of paying off the second annual instalment of the “Antecedent Liability.” 4. THE ANNUAL recurring loan rates, now in force, will be levied and collected also accordingly. The said rates to be for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1923, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1924, and to ‘ be due and payable in ore instalment on the 14th day of June, 1923, to Ernest Walton, County Treasurer, at the County Office at Ngatea. The Valuation Rolls for the several ridings of the County of Hauraki Plains are open for inspection at the County Office, Ngatea, during office hours. ERNEST WALTON, County Clerk.
