HAMILTON MATCH* On Monday, June 4, the local Golf Club has arranged a match against a team from Hamilton. This match will be held in conjunction with the other events on the programme. The local team will be strengthened by players from neighbouring clubs. Several >f the local players who have shown marked improvement recently will have their handicaps reduced. H. Budd will probably be lowered to 6, W. P- Dales to 12, H. G. Somervell to 14. A large and representative,, team from Hamilton is assured for the tournament. The course, is in excellent condition and the greens are. playing well. Given a fine day, an. interesting and enjoyable day’s spoilt is assured.
