Mr H. F. Penlington, haedmaster of Wharenui School, • has been selected as the teachers’ advocate before the Grading Appeal Board, which will sit shortly. Mr Penlingten is an .uncle of Mr R. B. Penlington, of Paeroa. Mr J. A. Briggs, local manager of tho Farmers’ Mecca, who has been laid up with a bad foot for , some weeks, has . returned to business again.
