CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURESTONIGHT. THE GREEN TEMPTATION. “The Green Temptation" is the at traction for this evening. It is the stupendous paramount production starring beautiful Betty Compson, suppoited by a east unexcelled. A striking feature is the many varied settings,, taking one from the Apache underworld through Parisian theatre ami night life, lightly yet faithfully touching the War, and coming to rest in a quiet town. The theme move, swiftly and with perfect continuity, peopled with inulti-cost,timed characters who imbue intense reality in every scene. It is the story of a girl reared in crime by an Apache leader. She takes a chance which makes her the Idol of Paris, giving her greater scope for her thieving. To escape arrest she becomes a nurse, and goes to Mie front where the tremendous events regenerate her soul. A startling climax in a peaceful town clears the air, giving a fitting finish to a wonderful picture. On Friday afternoon a matinee will be given, when “The Sheik” will be screened.
