H.M. Trade Commissioner supplies us with figures showing the number of cais registered in each district of the Dominion. The combined district of Auckland and-Poverty Bay comes first with 3740 registrations in 1920, and Wellington next with 2018. Next in order come Canterbury, Otago and Southland, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Nelson and Marlborough, Westland.-
