The first monthly medal match was played on the local links on Saturday last, the winners being B. S. Budd 90—12—70, and Miss E. Walmsley. At. a committee meeting held on April 28 it was decided to hold the annual tournament on the King's Birthday for the Championship of East Auckland, and other events. Members are reminded that the postponed match for the Hanna Shields will he played this afternoon. The Draw will be at 3.45 P.m. sharp, play, mixed foursome over 9 holes. The first round of the Club Handicap competition will be played on Saturday next over 18 holes, match play. LADIES. ’ The medal round played on Saturday was won by Miss E. Walmsley, with a r.et score of 83. The following cards were returned: Miss E. Walmsley 1.11 -28 —B3, Miss L. Thorp 111— 29 —85. Miss F. Walmsley 108—21 —87, Mrs J. Silcock 119 -25—94, Mrs Budd 123—28—95, Mrs Peacock 131—36— 95. M.-s Bain 126—29—97, Miss I. Thorp 154—36—108. Next Saturday the first 18 holes of the Club Handicap will lie played.
