NGATEA v. WAITAKARURU. The junior match was played at the same time as the senior maten, and proved an even game, tnough the lack of combination in the Ngatea team was very much in. evidence. The scores were, Ngatea 3, Waitakarjuru 0. Mr.J. Kidd was referee. PATETONGA V." TURUAThe junior match was played before the senior match, and proved a fairly even game, though Turua appeared to be slightly the stronger. It was rather sluggish at first, but livened up towards the finish. R. Wallace scored for Patetonga and E. Johnson kicked a goal for Turua, making the scores three all. Mr R, Phelan was referee.
