CLAUDELANDS STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Hamilton, reports:— At Claudelands on Thursday there was a fair entry of sheep, but a’ smaller yarding of cattle than usualc while Pigs were penned in much' larger numbers than alt recent sales. 130 being entered. Sheep sold well,' and for the beef, while not brisk, competition ruled quite up to values at, other centres. For the pigs there was good competition pt values in? favour of sellers. We quote fat wethers 30s 9d to 32s 6d, store lambs 15s 7d to 16s 3d, fat steers £5 7s to £7 6s, fat cows prime, £4’ to £5 ss, good fat cows £3 to £4, other killable cows £2 3s to £2 17s 6d, store cows 15s to £2, in calf heifers, Shorthorn, £4 10s, heifer calves £1 12s to £2 Ils, springing heifers £7 ; heavy baconers- £3 15s to £4 16s, medium baconers £2 liss to £3 .10s, porkers £1 13s to £2 12s, weaners 7s 6d to 12s.
