e Owing to the inclemency of the weather previous to Saturday rendering the links unplayable, the Hanna Shields competition was postponed to' Wednesday, May 2. On Saturday next the play will be for the monthly medal, over 18 holes for both men and ladies. The recent rains have been verybeneficial to the greens, which, after attention from the green superintendent, should be in excellent condition for play shortly.
