May:) and McLoughlin was present, and spoke in- regard to the proposed bridge over, the Piako River midway between Tahuna and Patetonga and the proposed deviation of the TabunaPatetonga road. The deputation asked that something binding he put on record by the present county councils concerned in order that there would be no fear of the incoming councils turning the matter down. The Piako Council finally decided that instructions be given the solicitor to bring the matter to finality before the sitting councils go out of office. -
