PURSUANT to Section 7 of “ The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,” I hereby give notice that an election will be held on Wednesday, the 9th day of May, 1923, for the purpose of electing Councillors for each riding of the County of Ohinemuri, as under :— For Paeroa Riding : Two Councillors. For Kaimanawa Riding: Two Councillors. For Waitekauri Riding: One Councillor. For Waikino Riding: One Councillor. For Karangahake Riding: One Councillor. For Mangaiti Riding: One Councillor. For Waihi Riding : One Councillor. And I hereby appoint the County Chambers, Paeroa, as the place, and Tuesday, the Ist day of May, 1923, before noon, as the day for the nomination of candidates for such office. ATOTICE is hereby given that -Li at a special meeting of the above County Council held on Thursday, the sth day of April, 1923, a resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on the 3rd May, 1923 at 1 p.m., the purport of the said resolution being as follows, viz.: To authorise the raising of a loan of £llOO for the forming and metalling of portions of Frankton Road and Old Tauranga Road, the loan to be secured by a special rate over the Frankton Road Special Rating Area. A copy of .the resolution. is deposited for inspection at the County Office, Paeroa, and may be seen at any time during ordinary office hours until the 3rd May, 1923. R. W. EVANS, County Clerk.
