Mrs Preston-Thomas, and Mr Fletcher. The subject chosen —Heredity v. Environment —was one that readily lent itself to debate, and though at times the accepted rules of debate were .1101 followed many interesting arguments were put forth. Mr Fletcher, seconded by Mr R. F. Jamieson, championed the cause of Heredity, while Mr F. Powley and Mr A. Phelan supported Environment. Only four others spoke when the subject was thrown open for general discussion.
