. With the Easter racing just'over, this week’s issue of . the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review” has made a special feature of the Auckland Racing Club’s autumn carnival at Ellerslie, three full pages being de-' voted to the fixture, depicting the .finishes of all the principal events, also snapshots on the lawn, and comprising an interesting souvenir of a highly successful meeting. A very fine full-page series that will make a general appeal shows competitors at the Territorial and Cadet shooting meeting at the Putiki range, Wanganui. A photograph of the first ocean liner to berth at Wanganui is also given special prominence. Paris women undergoing the latest beautifying process, races and other sports in Switzerland, open air dancing i»> French public schools, Sunny Italy, and mafay others of up-to-date interest are dealt with.
