KEREPEEHI.
/ kerepeehi school. The need for a larger school at Keerpeehi is one of great urgency. At present children are sitting three in a desk, and it is Impossible to find room for more desks. The problem is aggravated by the fact that onethird of the pupils are Maoris. The school has a capacity .allowing 12 square feet for each child, Jor 12 pupils, yet there is a roil number of 62, and an average attendance of nearly 57. The Education Board is being written to on .the matter, and stress laid on the fact that, as Kerepeehi has a large floating population, the school may be called upon at any time to receive more pupils. At present children from .the district are going to school at Ngatea and Wharepoa.
