THE New Zealand Crown Mines Co., Ltd., invite tenders for the working of their road metal quarry at Karangahake on tribute for a term of one year from the 20th day of March, 1923., The Tributers to provide all labour and stores, and pay all expenses of the working, including maintenance of plant and machinery. . j ' ■ The quarry and a draft of agreement can be inspected on application to the Company’s Manager at Karangahake. Tenders must be in writing, and must state the royalty per cubic yard offered. Tenders, to be addressed to G. N. Special trains for Paeroa will run as follows :—From Auckland 6.30 a.m., Paeroa arrive 11.55 a.m. From Frankton 9.16 a.m., Paeroa arrive 11.35 a.m. A train will leave Thames for Te Aroha at 9.50 a.m. Paeroa arrive 11.4 a.m. Return trains Paeroa to Auckland at 6.30 p.m.; to Thames 6.40 p.m.; to Frankton 7.15 p.m.; and to Waihi at 6.15 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. Free passes, privilege, season, tourist excursion, and commutation tickets will not be available by the 6.30 a.m. Auckland-Paeroa and 6.30 p.m. Paeroa-Auckland specials. 0 ! n 17th March special trains for Paeroa will run as follows : — From Auckland 6.20 a.m., Paeroa arrive 11.58 a.m.; from Frankton 8.50 a.m., Paeroa arrive 11.40 a.m.; from Waihi 12.10 p.m., Paeroa arrive 1 p.m. A train will leave Thames for Te Aroha at 9 50 a.m., Paeroa arrive 11.4 a.m. Trains will return from Paeroa to Auckland at 6.30 p.m.; to Thames at 7.30 p.m.; to Frankton at 7.5 p.m.; and to Waihi at 6.45 p.m. The usual 11 a.m. Pae-roa-Waihi train will leave .Karangahake 11.16 a.m., Waikino 11.40, Waihi arrive 11.55 a.m. For particulars see handbills or enquire at stations.
