This week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review” surpasses anything yet attempted in the pictorial line, the phenomenal number of no less them 121 illustrations being included necessitating four, extra pages. An outstanding photographic t achievement is the double centre pages printed in coloured ink, containing nearly 100 snapshots of the principal patrons on the lawn at the Gisborne Racing Club’s and the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s carnival. The Motor sports at Muriwai occupy two full pages of thrilling phases of tjie principal races, giving an indication of the high speed attained. The-' American athletic events at the Domain are also covered in a striking series.
