PAEROA V. KARANGAHAKE. A return match was played in the Domain on Saturday last between Karangahake and Paeroa, resulting in a win for the' local team by an innings and 24 runs. With the exception of two or three players the local team made a. poor showing, and will have to do considerably better in future matches. The Karangahake team is practically ’new one, and has done remarkably well in its maiden year. We hope they will keep the game going at Kara, ngahake, and that we will be able to look forward to further games in the future. The following are the scores : PAEROA. C. Farrow, b Remington — — 3 H.
