PERSONAL.
Mr R. V. Wyke, who has for the past eight weeks occupied the editorial chair of the “Gazette,” left Paeioa on Friday last, en route to Suva, where he will occupy a similar position on the Times.”. Ratana, the Maori Prophet, with some thirty of his retinue, arrived in Paeroa on Saturday morning. During his stay in Paeroa he will be the honoured guest of Haora Tareranui, chief of the Ngatitanatera tribe.
