One of t,he many results of the recent Science Congress (states the Christchurch Press) is an arrangement b.v which Captain Pitt-Rivers, private secretary to Lord Forster, Governor-General of Australia, and Dr. A. G. Fitt, of Auckland, are collaborating in an important investigation based upon a. comparison between the mental ability and outlook of Maori and European children.
