HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co-, Ltd., Hamilton, ieports - At Hamilton on Tuesday we had a good yarding of sheep and pigs, but the number of cattle penned was small. Fat sheep sold quite equal to last week’s rates, wethers making from 31s 9d to 34s 9d ; ewes from 27s 3d to 30s ; fair-conditioned lambs 21s to 235. The demand for rape lambs was jnot quite so good, a line pf two of extra good sorts selling at rates noticeably below recent values. From 18s to 19s 3d were the figures realised. Store lambs again drew fair competition, making frqm 12s to 15s 6d. A few lines of breeding ewes were offered. but bidding was hard to draw and most of the offering was passel Prices' realised at. the conclusion were as follows : Small 2-toot.hs 24s , small ewes, .2,4, and 6-top.th, 24s 4 and 5-year, 8s ; failing mouth 19s. Fat cows sold under fair competition from £5 7s to £7 2s ; store cows £2 to £2 10s ; 18 months steers £2 7s 6d : iheifers, r.w.b., £3 14s; calves 265. There was again a full yarding or pigs. Baconers advanced slightly on last wieek’s values ; porkers remained on a par. Heavy baconers realised £3 7s 6d to £3 17s, medium £2 16s to £3 ss, light and unfinished.3ss 1 to £2 ’ slips 20s to 22s 6d, small 15s to I9s ; weaners, best, 10s tp 14s, small 7s 6d to 10s.
