CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. DOUBLE-STAR PROGRAMME. Another double-star programnie is to bo presented by the management tni evening, when “The Birth of New Zealand” will be shown by the Doni inion Filins, and “The Furnace,” a Paramount masterpiece featuring Agnes Ayres. Besides these two stars will be screened the first chapter of “Robinson Crusoe.” NGATEA PUBLIC HALL. TO-MORROW—SHOW .NIGHT. PICTURES, VOCAL ITEMS, & DANCE A gigantic entertainment is to be provided in the Ngatea Public Hall to morrow night, consisting of a special programme of pictures, vocal items, and a dance. The picture is a western masterpiece, entitled “The Fox,” featuring Harry Carey, the foremost western actor on the screen. “The Fox" concerns a woe-begone tramp who is thrown from a freight train to play a most important part in tlie destiny of a small desert town. He uncovers the crooked doings of a grasping banker, leads regular United States cavalry into aqtipn to break up a gang of desperadoes, and wins a wife after the fastest whirl of action which he has ever experienced in his long career as’ an exponent of the range-riding hero. Breezy Eason, the wonder child of the screen, has a role i,n support of Harry Carey that gives an additional heart punch to the famous western star’s UniversalJewel feature.
