PAEROA BRANCH. MONTHLY PAYMENTS. The N.Z. Dairy Co., Ltd., Paeroa branch, advises as under: — The monthly advance payments for December, butter-fat from the Paeroa office amounted to £73,288, of which sum £15,141. was for cheese-making and £58,147 for butter-making. There is an increase in both butter and cheese butter-fat for .the month compared to December, of last year of 29,1041 b.
The final bonus payment for buttermaking has now been worked out, and will be paid out on February 1. The rates are %d on butter-fat. from October, 1921, to April, 1922. and 4'd for May, 1922, butter-fat. It is anticipated that the cheese bonus v ill be paid out within the next few weekis. So far the account sales have not come to band from London,, and it is therefore not possible to arrive at the final rate of payment. The latest market prices received by cable from the London office advise > — Butter prices l : Anchor 198 s, first 1965, unsalted. 200 s, Danish 200 s f.o.b. Cheese prices : White and coloured 1245. Market may touch 120 s before reaction. Except coloured go 2s to 4s premium.
