Regulating the weight of any engine, agricultural or .other machine, or vehicle of any kind, and the weight of any load or material of any kind which shall be permitted to cross any bridge, or culvert, and the times when such engines, agricultural br other machines or vehicles shall be allowed to aross any bridge or culvert, or the weight of the load which any traction engine may draw. 26 Regulating the pace, mode, or manner and times at which any horses, cattle, engines, agricultural or other machines ar, vehicles shall cross or be driven, led, oi taken over any bridge ar culvert. 27. For the weighing of vehicles and machines. For the marking of the weight of any vehicle or machine. For the weighing or measuring of the contents of any vehicle or machine, or fp.l* the compu tation of the weight or measurement of such contents from the cubical or superficial measurement thereof. Prescribing what quantity of timber, agricultural produce, mineral and other specified materials shall be deemed to bo of a specified weight or measurement. Providing for the driver of any vehicle or machine glving such information as to the load or contents thereof, and the quantity, weight, size, or measurement of the same, br doing suci acts for the. purpose of enabling the same tp be ascertained as such authorised person requests. 28. Providing for. the licensing of persons to keep, store, or sell “dangerous goods” and “specially dangerous goods” as in the said Bylaw defined. 29. Conserving public health and preventing or abating nuisances. 30. Prescribing the.minimum area of land on whiejh a dwelling may be erected in the County. 31. Prescribing the minimum air space adjacent to any dwelling or to any specified class of dwelling that shall be kept free of buildings or other structures and generally for preventing the overcrowding of land with buildings. 32. Prescribing for buildings a minimum .frontage to a public or private street or road. 33. With respect tp the site, erection, and: construction of buildings, including the lighting, veptilation, and air space of, rooms for human habitation. 34. Regulating drainage and the collection and disposal of sewage, and prescribing conditions to be observed in the construction of approved drains, septic tanks,
sanitary conveniences and sanitary appliances. 35. Regulating, licensing, or prohibiting the keeping of any animals pi birds in the district or in any part thereof. 36. With res'pect to the cleansing and repairing of buildings and the paving and -sanitation of yaids and other areas appurtenant to buildings. 37. Prohibiting or regulating the deposit on any land of refuse or offensive matter. 38. Regulating the situation and construction of stables, cowsheds, and piggeries. 39. Regulating the collection, transportation, and disposal of nightsoil, rubbish, waste matter and refuse. 40 Regulating the mode of disposal of dead animals. 41- Regulating the handling and storage of goods which are or are likely to become offensive. 42. Regulating the situation and structure of buildings used for or in connection with offensive trades. 43. Regulating the conduct of offensive trades, and of manufactures and processes which may be offensive or dangerous to the persons employed in on about the same. 44. Regulating and prescribing the cleansing and renovation 'of public conveyances. 45. Prescribing the sanitary precautions to be adopted in respect to any business or trade. 46- Generally, for the more effectually carrying out of any of the provisions of The Health Act relating to the powers and duties of local authorities.
