COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF RESOLUTION (BY WAY OF SPECIAL ORDER) AUTHORISING THE RAISING OF LOAN FOR THE PURPOSE OF ERECTING WORKER’S DWELLING. NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held on Monday the fourth day of December, 1922, at the County Office at Ngatea the follQwing resolution was passed by way of Special Order and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday, the 24th day of January, 1923, at the hour of 11 a;m. at the County Office at Ngatea' ‘ RESOLUTION. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1920,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and amendments thereto respectively, and all other Acts, if any, it in that behalf enabling, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — That the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £9OO for the purpose of erecting a worker’s dwelling within the Patetonga Riding of the County of Hauraki Plains (including, if necessary, the purchase of any land required for such dwelling), and, as security for the payment of interest, sinking . fund, and other charges on the said loan, will, by resolution, make and levy a special annually-recurring rate of one thirty-second of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the ridings of Patetonga and Waitakaruru of the said County, and it is the intention to pay out of the loan the first year’s interest and sinking fund. The loan is for a period of thirty* six and a half years at such rate of interest . not exceeding so much as may be authorised under section 11 of “The Finance Act, 1921.” together with an additional charge, to provide the necessary sinking fund.
