LOCAL ADVANCE PAYMENTS!. The following information has been supplied by Mr W. H. Blakewa.y, local ■secretory of the N.Z. Dairy Co., Ltd.: The following are details of the “payout’- for November butter-fat made from .the Paerpa office on December 20, 1922 : Advance payment for butter-mak-ing. £56,095; advance payment for cheese making, £14,475 ; total, £70,570. The output of butter for November was as follows : Ngatea factory 202 tons, Paeroa factory 148 tons, Waihpu factory 163 tons. Prices of both butter and cheese continue to hold.good. The following cabl.e has just been received from the London manager : “Butter : Anchoi 184, firsts 182, unsalied 188. Market very fine. Expect considerable activity, early January prices probably improving. Our stocks practically cleared. Opening Dorset and Waimana after Christmas. Whole forward position looks gopd. Cheese : White 126, coloured 1241. ,Firm, no change estimated forward position.” STILL FURTHER RISE. Just as we were going to press today Mr Blakeway informed us tha.v he had just received cable advice of a still further rise : “Butter : Anchor 199, first grade 188, unsalted 194, Danish 208 f.o.b. Murket buoyant, possible further advance. Cheese: White 130, coloured 128. Market very firm.”
