The Sixth Hauraki Regimental Band (Thames) visited Turua and Ngatea on Sunday and played a programme of music at each place. The band was conveyed by Messrs White and Son's lorry, and was accompanied by a number of supporters l . The band played before a fair number of Turua people in the morning, and arrived at Ngatea in time for lunch. The bandsmen assembled on the school ground, being welcomed by Mr R. E. JamieSbn who expressed a hope tlhat the visit would be th forerunnr of. many others.
