MAORI CONCERT. CENTRAL THEATRE TO-NIGHT. The Famous Ngatima.ru Tribe of thirty performers will give a grand concert in the Central Theatre this evening. A feature of the entertainment will be the poi dancing and hakas, war crys and vaudeville items. As this is an entertainment put of the ordinary a bumper house is expected to greet this tribe of clever performers. CAPITOL PICTURES. NGATEA PUBLIC HALL. THE ROCKS OF VALPRE. Lovers of Ethel M. Dell’s novels, and their number must run into millions, will remember what glorious opportunities her famous story “■The Keeper ofi the Doon” offers for the skill of screen play producers. The news that Stoll’s screen version of the novel, ” The Rocks of Vailpre,” is to be screened in tlie Ngatea Public Haff on Friday night next is of particular interest. It is a drama that gets its strength from heart interest and sincerity rather than from sensationalism. The staging is excetpioiially good, and the play is forcibly portrayed by a clever company. NETHERTON PUBLIC HALL. THE ROCKS OF VALPRE. The above masterpiece is to be screened in the Netherton Public Hali on Monday next.
