There should be a brisk demand for this issue of the “NZ. Sporting and Dramatic Review,” replete as it is' with illustrations of superlative merit ‘and universal interest, The centre pages are devoted to a striking set of snapshots depicting the spring racing carnival at Ellerslie on the concluding day, while there are other comprehensive sets relating to the meeting. The New Zealand Cup contest at Riccarton shows a specially graphic page representing the race at various stagey while the trotting carnival, is also represented in vivid fashion. The Hamilton Racing Club’s meeting at Claudelands also occupies a special niche ih the illustrations. The overseas section contains an unusually fine topical grouping of photographis culled from varied sources.
