METHODIST RALLY.
DR. LAWS IN PAEROA. On Friday of last week the Rev. C. H. Laws, 8.A., D.D., visited Paeroa as the president of the Methodist Church. During the afternbpn he was driven to the gorges at Karangahake, and was an enthusiastic admirer of the loveliness there, as seen in rock and flora. At a service held in t.he chiurch during the evening he was welcomed to Paeroa Methodism by the Rev. W. J. Enticott, who assured tihe president of the love and esteem of Methodists at Paeroa, both for himself and the Church he represented as the head. Dr. Laws, in addressing the congregation, thanked them for their kind expression of goodwill, both to the Church and to himself, and then gave a very eloquent and inspiring address bn “ Consecration and Service.” This was listened to with much interest, and Methßdists are now looking forward to a not.distant futuie when it is hoped that Dr. Laws will again visit them for a. Sunday service.
