Assistant - Attorney General.
A WOMAN. The Assistant-Attorney-General of US-A. is a woman—Mrs" Mabel Walker Willebrandt, according to an article in the “Atlantic Monthly.” In her report for the year ending June 30, 1921, Mrs Willebrandt says : “There has been a tremendous growth in cases coming to the courts, the greatest increase probably being caused by violations' of the liquor laws, and the inability of the courts to handle cases promptly is materially interfering with adequate law-en-forcement..” Prohibition in America has glutted the courts throughout the land. Prisons everywhere are overcrowded. Crime is rampant. Where is the Peaceful Paradise the Prohibitionists promised ? Vote Continuance !*
