THE FARMERS' MECCA.

ENTERPRISING TE AROHA FIRM. A new advertisement appearing in this issue is one of great, interest io every dairy farmer in this district, and the Hauraki Plains in particular. We refer to C. H. Stephenson’s, the milking machine expert, of Te Arpha. On entering his business premises, situated next to the Bank of Australasia, one is amazed to find such complete and numerous goods and. extras as are stocked. The name '* Farmers’ Mecca,’’ is most appropriate, for within the four walls of the shop can be seen tastefully arranged and correctly labelled on the shelves so as to catch the eye numerous pulleys of all sizes, lubricating oils for every class oS engine, belting, buckets, vacuum pumps, and general hardware of every description ; also benzine engines of several types and makes. Mr Stephenson claims he is ip f position to sell vacuum pumps at anything from £8 to £lO below prices quoted by milking machine companies, and also claws, brackets, and milk piping arc 25 pel] ceiit. lower. Such prices defy competition, and encouragement is due to one catering for the trade of the farming community on such economical lines. Mr Stephenson has agents at Ngatea and Pipiroa, to whom for transmission to Te Aroha may safely be entrusted.
